In September 2002 we purchased a V2Premier computer from ShopNBC for our home office. Within 2 weeks of receiving the computer we had to return the tower as it basically died. They agreed to send us a new tower and we returned the old tower as requested. It took at total of 2 1/2 weeks for the exchange to take place and the software reinstalled so I could again use the computer for my business.

In December 2002, the power supply went out on the computer, after several hours of dialing phone numbers and talking to "techs" they sent another power supply, the usual 7-10 business days actually takes 3+ weeks. In the meantime I am again not able to use the computer for my business.

On February 24th, 2003, the unit just plain died! It has now been 3 weeks since they were going to send me three parts and I still only have one of the parts. After several more hours of phone time, they don't know where the parts are or why I did not receive them. Again, THREE weeks I have not been able to use the computer for my business and by time I get the parts
it will be another 2-3 weeks.

I have asked for them to take the computer back and refund my cost however we received the blanket statement that they would not take a return after 30 days. American Express is looking into the matter as they have a department that deals with these issues. They have agreed to send a tech to replace defective parts or replace the tower if they are not able to fix the unit however they won't send the tech until I receive the parts....this could be NEVER!

When talking to the phone numbers given they basically bounce you back and forth between the Minnesota and Altanta offices each blaming each other for the problem.

I have had enough of both V2Premier and Shop NBC. I strongly feel that ShopNBC should remove this company from their programing and take responsibility for the customers they have assisted V2Premier in taking advantage of.

ShopNBC and V2Premier

AUTHOR: Julie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, December 30, 2004

I just thought someone should know that eventually I reached a person at ShopNBC named Laura who has a position higher than Chad Walsky in the ShopNBC President's Office. After spending a few minutes on the phone with her she researched the problems I have had with V2Premier and ShopNBC and agreed to take my
computer back. I packed up the computer and everything that went with it and returned it using the pre-paid UPS labels she sent.
This processed took me almost 9 months from the day the computer arrived. I appreciated Laura's help with this issue.

I now own 3 Compaq's, 2 Dell Desktops and 3 Dell laptops and have not had any problems with any of them. I strongly recommend purchasing a Dell.
