Vacancy Rewards Marina Fiesta/Genesis Collection Fraudulently represented themselves as agent for Marina Fiesta/Genesis Collection and collected annual dues of $159 since 2012 and this year also sold me a rent-by-owner program for $349 for my timeshare at Marina Fiesta Miami Florida

We had a timeshare at Marina Fiesta in Cabo San Lucas since 1997.  When we were at the resort in 2010 they gave a presentation with afurther one time cost of $4,320.00 that would change our timeshare to annual dues of $159 and give us 2 weeks at our home resort in Cabo and access to Genesiss collection, which could give us reduced rates on timeshares all over the world.  Initially the website was not working when we tried to access it for a vacation.  At that time we changed our minds about scheduling anything due to no money for travel...

We continued to pay our yearly dues when the "agent" Vacancy Rewards billed us every year.  This year they offered a rent-by-owner program for one time fee of $349. So we paid the annual fee and the other charge.

I asked them how to schedule a home week and rent the other and they said we'd have to contact Marina Fiesta/Genesis Collection to set up the weeks.  I did this and Marina fiest said that we hadn't paid our annual dues since 2012(therefore we couldn't use the timeshare and that Vacancy Rewards was not their agent to collect the dues, and we owed them for those years.

They further said they had notified us of this...However we haven't had any billing from them for those years, but Vacancy Rewards has faithfully collected the yearly dues ..

Also I have no access to the Genesis Collection Platinum website, doesn't work...

This is a 2-pronged scam, One from a company in Florida and also with the Marina Fiesta Resort in Cabo San Lucas.

Is there recourse for me out there???
