 Do not use this guy as he is a con man out ripping off homeowners as a matter of every day business habit. He's a "bait and switch" mortage broker who cost me a home I was trying to buy. My wife and I were buying a home for our family of 3 kids. We already sold our home and closed escrow. Tony Valerio, the principle of company had our loan in process for months before we finally found the house of our dreams. He kept tellling us we were preappoved and not to worry as he had everything under control, we just needed to find another home. There were multiple offers on this house, so we were excited when we were told we had the highest bid! Two of the others who wanted the home wrote back-up offers. Tony kept telling us 30 days to close was not a problem. As it turns out, the rate he quoted of 3.75% ended up being a rate of 4.5% that he changed at the last minute. He also told us in two days before we were scheduled to close we needed to not put down the 20% he told us were were approved for, but rather we needed to put down 40%....WHICH HE KNEW WE DID NOT HAVE!!! We ended up losing the house and the Listing Agent or Seller ended up keeping our 10K Earnest money which we are now hiring an Attorney to try and get back. We then went to another Mortgage person at Prime Lending and she was able to get us into a home with 20% down and in the same price range. She reviewed the paperwork from Tony Valerio and she stated he must be incompentent and must not be able to understnad the lending industry. She did a little background serch and found he was part of MLS or Mortage Loan Specalists which was/is a very dishonest Mortgage Brokerage COmpany which had been rippiing off consumers for years. Be WARNED, Tony Valerio IS A DISHONEST PERSON and RIP OFF ARTIST WHO NEEDS TO BE ARRESTED FOR HIS CRIMES!!!
