In the beginning It was one of those things to good to be true obviously, as a medical assistant you do not make $15 starting out maybe $9 if you are lucky, plus all credits won't transfer, as the admissions reps tell you.....I went to apply at another college as a transfer student and I was notified that Vatterott doesnt have regional accreditation , so that was the main reason as to why the credits wouldnt be accepted, Vatterott is Nationally accredited, but not regionally that should be a law to be accredited within the region of base. Corporate probably has both accreditations why cant the other branches...I feel as if my education was all a big fraud!!! I shouldnt have to pay over $34,000 to a school that isn't accredited!.... I have to Start my education all over again, which is ridiculous....Now if Vatterott would just get regionally accreditted within the next year then maybe I would not be so d**n frustrated about Vatterott--look in the dictionary and next to fraudulent you will see Vatterott College

What Ive learned is that almost anybody can get various national ceritifcations, but that what is relevant is regional.
National requires virtually nothing. Regional requires not only standards but big $$ and systems in place and very obviously a real school.
Vatterott's certification is only national because they would never be able to get legit with regional certifications.
They are a diploma mill...and as a past employer I would never hire somebody from Vatterott.
