Veetron on Indigogo Indigogo allows scammer Veetron to sell on their site without fulfillment Internet

Indigogo is a crowd funding site where you can fund interesting products to help bring them to market.    On August 10, 2015, I received an email from Indigogo advertising a new Electronic Scooter from the company Veetron.  This scooter, the VOMO was purported to be better and more powerful than other electronic scooters, traveling at an advertised 20 mph.

On 8/10/2015, I paid Indigogo $498 for my scooter plus shipping costs.  My credit card was charged and my order was confirmed by Indigogo.  

After hearing nothing for four months, I wrote to Indigogo, asking where my product was.  On 12/15/2015, I heard from Veetron, asking me what COLOR I wanted for my scooter.  I responded right away and asked where my scooter was.

On 12/29/2015, I received an email from VOMO entitled "Good News!  Your VOMO has been sent."  There was a UPS tracking number that I discovered corresponded to no tracking number in the UPS System.

I wrote to both Indigogo and Veetron again on January 15 and again on February 7 to ask where the order was.

As of September, 2016, I still haven't received the scooter, and I am out more than $500.

What's worse is this:  Indigogo claims they have no responsibility for making sure the products you order on their site are delivered to you.  Even though they charged my credit card and took the money from me more than a year ago, they are claiming they can only "pass along" my question to the vendor.

As of today, Veetron is STILL listed on the Indigogo site, even though they sell product and fraudulently claim they have shipped it.

I've written to both companies more than a dozen times with no resolution. 

BEWARE of doing business with Indigogo.  You have NO insurance against a bad vendor taking your money and delivering NOTHING in return for it.
