Veridian Research Inc. Sent bogus check for "Secret Shopper" payment.... Lawton Oklahoma

Today I got a letter from VERIDIAN INC. This letter included a bogus check (Which LOOKED funny, because it was not on heavier thickness check type paper) for me to cash through Walmarts Moneygram service.

I could tell this was possibly a scam, because they were saying I was chosen to be a mystery shopper, YET I would have had to pay $ 105.00 to get the check cashed!! How stupid is that??!!??

After checking out the company, which IS REAL...I then proceeded to check out the address they gave for Communication Credit Union, the issuing bank on the check... which IS REAL ALSO.... so I searched the address for the bank and IT WAS REAL TOO!!!

I dug even deeper, because this check is worth $3,590.00 if it can be cashed !! I KNEW something had to be wrong, because any company in their right mind would NOT just DROP a check of ANY amount to just anyone, without making some form of security issue about cashing it, for their own companies protection.

So, I finally googled THE PHONE NUMBER they gave to confirm receipt of the check...and UP POPPED RIPOFF.COM!!!

BINGO!!!

(PLEASE, do NOT waste your time by trying to cash this check...it will bounce higher than a kite.... and do NOT call the phone number given...they will more than likely TRY to CONVINCE you into TRYING to cash the check..... it's just NOT WORTH your time and energy; beside the $105.00 you will have to pay to cash the check.....and DON'T EVEN think you will get paid for doing it either; they will just keep chalking this up an IDIOT who tried to get "easy money" like they are trying to do through moneygram because of people who fall into their nets and believe their story.... YOU WILL NOT GET PAID AND YOU WILL BE OUT $105.00 !!!)
