I am single mom of now over-21 son. His dad died in motorcycle accident in 2004 and my son turned 16 after that. I wanted to give him a nice "turning 16" party and knew he like the music group known as "Other People". My son really wanted Other People to play at his party and I wanted to facilitate this for him.
I was put in touch with Victor Metelev who was supposed to be the leader and spokesperson for the group. Mr. Metelev agreed to play the party and asked for a $1500 deposit which I gave him. On the night of the party no band, no Victor ... no money spent. My son was heart-broken.
After that Metelev never returned a single phone call. It was called to my attention that he never even told his band members about the transaction.
Mr. Metelev is a snake ... a horrible person and I strongly advise that if this group is still together that you find another act to hire. Whatever you do, don't do business with Victor Metelev!!!

I don't know who this is. This never happened. I was in a band called Other People. I have never charged ANYBODY to play a party or played any party. I haven't played music around LA in over 6 year. Any musician knows nobody would have payed us $1500 to play a party... its a fair price and we would have done it, this just has never happened. Perhaps somebody was pretending to be me. Happy to provide a picture. I have no problem sorting out who did this to this person, but it was not me.
