VIP Talent Connect Find My Audition - Breach of Contract Internet

The other reports describe similar experiences to mine, so I will only add new information.

Luckily, finding out at the last moment that "events" are only held on Saturdays saved me from paying around $1500, since my religion prohibits this sort of activity on Saturdays. 

They then convinced me of a new program called TAG that was local and held on Sundays.  They took $100 from my credit card for membership, plus $60 a month.  Membership allegedly included weekly emails of local auditions plus a contact person from their office.  They said that they were sending the introductory email to my email address (and to that of my girlfriend) right there as we spoke.

We should have checked on our phones right there because we never received the emails.  We called and wrote and emailed.  Finally, we received an email saying we should already have gotten the introductory email.  We never had and never did after that.  Nor did we get the weekly emails or contact person. We tried to get the process started, but never received the promised emails.

To their credit, when I kept calling and faxing to cancel membership, they did refund the second month and stopped further charges, but they refused to refund the initial $100 and the first monthly $60.  Nancy at their office said that they did not have our emails to send the weekly newsletters and intro email, but I explained that we did get the email saying we should have gotten the intro email by then.  So they had our correct email addresses.  I mailed a letter to Michael at their Philadelphia office but received no reply.

I suspected that they must be a scam operation and reading the other reports, I can see that I am not alone.  I do not understand how they manage to keep operating.
