VOYAGER RELOCATION LLC Overestimates truck weight and overcharges FAIRLAWN, New Jersey

Driver over estimated the load weight of the truck. When they arrived at destination they blackmailed me by asking for $2000 before they would empty truck. The full weight of truck was over 11,000 pounds, but I later found out that the empty truck weighed 8,000 pounds so the load may have been up to 3,400 pounds, not 6,000 pounds like they wanted paid for.

He weighed the empty truck and it weighed 7,700 pounds. So he weighed it two more times until the weight was only 5,500 pounds. I believe that he gave the scale person a $100 bill and never got change for a $10 weigh. The second weight was probably too small as the girl said to weigh it again. When I followed them back the second time I saw a much smaller truck waiting to be weighed. It was not a truck that would normally use the scale. The third weight was when he was satisfied.

I did not follow him back to the scale, but I bet there was another truck waiting that weighed 5 thousand pounds on the scale. When I went to Budget Truck Rental, I found out the true empty weight. 

Since he subcontracted for Move it Forward, I went after them, but so far I have gotten nothing from anybody. I did get an agreement to pay me back $1,435, but the driver has not responded to Move it Forward's requests for money back.
