Wachovia Homeq Bait & Switch ripoff lied Marlton New Jersey

Wachovia called me and sold me a rate the was significatly better than any other company that I had talked with. Combined with the closing cost (only $800) I jumped for the deal. However, when I sat down at the closing table the rate was higher by a quarter point and the closing costs were about $4000. So much for that. I've heard horror stories about the bait & switch that mortgage lenders have pulled but, I never suspected that a reputible company such as Wachovia would pull such a thing. I cancelled the loan and will not be doing business with this company EVER AGAIN.
