Me and my mother went there to calhoun,ga to drop off some "Color Negatives" as i was told that they would be able to make pictures out of it. then i got a call the same night saying they couldn't because they were "Positives", they are not positives at all just negatives in color they used to exist.

anyhow that guy didn't know what he was talking about since i knew that you could. anyhow i went there with my mother to pick them up and encountered "Charles" a young snotty, smart alec guy that is probably in his 30s talking to my mother like a dog who is in her 60s. she went to school to learn how to develop films. he kept on telling her "I don't think you know what I'm talking about", when she does.

then he showed us in a smart alec manner someone else's private negatives and said see these are the ones we develop from when my mom older than him already knew that. guess his relatives didn't teach him about respect at all, and that it's rude to talk down to a elderly person. i just looked away from this smart alec that i felt like grabbing the pics and naming him names for disrespecting my mother infront of other customers. then i looked at a shelf behind him and he in a smart alec and rude and nasty tone infront of my mom yelled "Do you have something to say to me or am I just wasting my time talking here". then i felt like hitting him for being a smart@$$ not only to my elderly mother who's lived longer than he has now he was being the same way to me who is disabled. anyhow my mom said no.

then after we were done with this p***k we went to get some pictures made and talked amongst us about his really bad attitude. know i see why some americans aren't liked, look at this attitude that he has towards a disabled person and a elderly person. wish he would get fired for this and have to pay some sort of compensation to us in monetary value for his attitude when my mom knew what he was saying and she was also trying to talk to him but she couldn't get a word in edge wise at all. still no apology from him, probably won't since he don't know what respect is at all, wish someone would have taught him that.

Anyhow I know nothing will get done to make this right as I know that Wal-Mart don't care about their customers that spent lots of money there they only care about the money as that's what they keep track of on a bunch of computers they have in one center, they track every transaction to see how rich they are getting. it used to be "The Customer is Always Right", not anymore wish it would be. and Wal-Mart saying that customer satisfaction is their #1 priority is a lie. look at how many people have had problems with walmart on this site alone.

So anyhow just wanted to voice my concern about this incident where we were talked to like we were dogs and stupid and not able to understand english, when we can, it's him that don't understand respect for some reason.

saying there was attitude on both sides is a false accusation. you wasn't there so you don't know what happened. my mother was kind and talked in a calm voice trying to explain but he wouldn't let her talk finish at all kept on butting in and then showed her someone's else's negatives. anyhow still no reason to yell at a woman in the middle 60s who is also disabled and more knowledgeable than he ever is. still no answer from the manager. can't believe they don't care about rude behavior.

Negatives..

There are no such things as "Negatives in Color". You either have a Negative or a Positive. If you say "Color Negatives", they will figure you mean the standard 35mm negatives. These are the ones that are 5-6 exposures on a strip that is mainly a translucent brown/copper color. A Positive would be something such as a slide where there is 1 exposure, and it is surrounded by a cardboard or plastic holder. It could be possible that when the positives were developed they were kept in a strip, I could see you having these especially if you are saying that your monther did develop them.

The process to create prints from each is different and requires different equipment. Since positives are no longer common(for about the last decade) these 1-Hour type places do not usually have the equipment to process a positive. Now, some places will offer to send it to a real photo lab to do it, or depending on your area you may find a professional lab in your area. So this sounds more like a case of "The customer is mis-informed" rather than the "Customer is always right".

As for the attitude of the manager that is not acceptable. However, just from the tone of the report it seems as if there was attitude on both sides.
