On,or about November 05, 2004 a Rx was mailed to this company. The Rx was for Nitroglycerin Sublingual Tablets which can litrally mean the difference in life and death for the user. On

November 12, 2004 the bank paid Walgreens for the check in full. On or about November 15, 2004 Walgreens called and infomed us that the Rx would be returned if they were not supplied with additional information now from the doctor. The person calling refused to tell us what information was needed. Another call was placed to Walgreens and a different person told us that the strenght of the pill was not specified on the Rx. The doctors office called with the information later in the day.

On November 20 2004 another called was placed to trace the where abouts of the Rx, after waiting on hold listening to recordings for over an hour the attempt was aborted. On November 29, 2004 a it was discovered that Walgrenns was no longer the provider for Rxs for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, IL as of November 01, 2004. Yolonda informed us that the money would be refunded in 7-10 business days and the Rx had been forwarded to the new provider - Prime Mail (a company now owned by Blue Cross/Blue Shield).

Prime Mail was contracted and did not have the Rx, nor did they have the policy number of the person who was to have the nitro Rx given to. It should be noted that Blue Cross - Blue Shelid never notified us that they were going to change the provider to this date.

Walgreens was called once again and Earline who is the customer "service" supervisor who would not commit to anything after being told that hte Rx had NOT been forwarded to Prime Mail and said accounting got the check upon arrival and cashed it without knowledge that they were not longer the Blue Cross - Blue Shield provider. She would not agree to fax the Rx to Prime Source or Federal Express the refund to us. A request to speak to her mangaer (Mr. Kefier) proved fruitless since he was in a meeting before 7:AM CST.

Years ago when Blue Cross - Blue Sheild started using Walgreens the very first time we ordered medinice from them they called and said thatere was no check included with order (which we knew there was) and demanded a second check. In order to procure the medinice we sent a second check, about three months later they cashed the first check without any notice to use after casiing the secind one as well.

Walgreens just does not seem to care one bit about their customers after they get the money - so be careful if you have to use them. They do not even know if in fact theyc still have the Rx !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
