Wayne Homes New NV company, LLC BUYER BEWARE of the BAIT AND SWITCH!! Greensburg, Pennsylvania

I had asked Wayne Homes of Greensburg Pa for a price quote. The sales manager (Jackie Smoyer) quoted me the price to build the home in Ohio not Pennsylvania. I was happy with the quoted price and went to the Greensburg office to sign the contracts only to find that the quote was bogus. She priced the plan using the Ohio pricing, but had no intention of honoring that price in PA as her email stated.

The salesman (Mike Campana) then tried to re-quote a previously quoted plan at a higher price saying that Wayne Homes no longer offered incentives. When I returned home that afternoon, I checked the internet and the incentives were still advertised on the Wayne Homes website.

I then received an email from Jackie Smoyer apologizing for the error that she made in quoting me the Ohio pricing for Pennsylvania stating that she did not know that their was a Fayette County in Ohio. Even though when I asked for the quote I specifically asked for the Ohio pricing in Pa.

Incidentally, the reason that I asked about giving me the Ohio pricing in Pennsylvania in the first place was because in the initial ranch plan that I had them quote, they did give me the Ohio price. And when I questioned that it was Fayette Pa., not Fayette Oh. They confirmed that the pricing was for PA.

I have all this in writing. In fact at the bottom of the email that Jackie states she was not aware of the fact that there was a Fayette PA as well as a Fayette Ohio is a copy of an email from me asking her to clarify that the pricing she gave me was for Fayette Pa, not Ohio on another plan that they quoted for me. The sales people were aware of my wanting to move quickly on this transaction, and I feel as though they tried to take advantage of me by playing the "bait & switch" on first the pricing, and then on the plan by offering me a smaller plan without the previously agreed on incentives.
