As an update I should add I sent well over an ounce of gold to this company. In fact there was one $200 gold Canadian coin which was a half ounce alone. Weeks after the email which had stated a cheque had been issued I recieved it, in the amount of $21.36.

It is interesting how these guys reasoning works. I sent an email and advised that if I did not recieve my jewellry back I would be pursuing criminal charges. I got an email back advising me that I was committing the crime of extortion by threatening them to get my property back. Wow...really? That planet they exist on must be nice this time of year.

Fraud 380. (1) Every one who, by deceit, falsehood or other fraudulent means, whether or not it is a false pretence within the meaning of this Act, defrauds the public or any person, whether ascertained or not, of any property, money or valuable security or any service, (a) is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to a term of imprisonment not exceeding ten years, where the subject-matter of the offence is a testamentary instrument or the value of the subject-matter of the offence exceeds five thousand dollars; or (b) is guilty (i) of an indictable offence and is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years, or (ii) of an offence punishable on summary conviction, where the value of the subject-matter of the offence does not exceed five thousand dollars.

I've filed a report with the local police, and hopefully will see some prosecution of this offence. Will I get reparation of any monies or jewellry I lost. Not likely, but that doesn't mean these crooks should be allowed to continue their scam. Do not trust this company!
