Web20KeywordFinder (.com) - Steven Yap approached my copywriting business in early November 2009.

Not being able to afford my normal copywriting rates, Steven Yap (Warrior Forum member: Steven Seven) asked if I would be willing to come to a deal with him for the supply of sales copy for his new piece of software - Web 2.0 Keyword Finder (Web20KeywordFinder.com)

I agreed to help him out on a joint venture basis. My terms were a $100 deposit with a percentage of monies to be due to me, based on how many units of the software sold - with no time limit placed on this agreement.

Steven Yap was initially delighted with this arrangement and fully agreed to it.

I, in turn, drew up a watertight contract between both parties so that both Steven Yap of Web20KeywordFinder.com (Web 2.0 Keyword Finder), of which Steven Yap is the proprietor, would both know exactly where we stand.

Steven Yap fully agreed to this arrangement by email and accordingly, I supplied the sales copy to him.

Shortly afterwards, Steven Yap of Web20KeywordFinder.com (Web 2.0 Keyword Finder) started to play up, demanding that I supply more services to him which were not part of the agreement, which had been reached between both parties.

I of course, refused to carry out this further work which was not part of the original agreement and cited the original contract to him which outlined in no uncertain terms the work that I was under contract to supply.

In the course of many communications taking place, Steven Yap once again tried it on and once again had to be told in no uncertain terms not to request of myself, further work which was not part of the agreement previously agreed upon.

During this time, completely unrelated to this deal, I was running an advertising / marketing campaign (a copywriting special offer price) to bring in further ongoing copywriting clients.

Steven Yap once again contacted me (total 73 emails) and told me that he wanted to drop out of our previously agreed contract and wanted to come onboard at my now significantly reduced copywriting rates.

This was refused by myself because this was an entirely separate offer, not intended for him or Web20KeywordFinder.com (Web 2.0 Keyword Finder.) Afterall, he had by now fully agreed to the terms of the contract / agreement between us and if I had agreed to this, (as it suited him), it would have seriously left me out of pocket on the agreement which aforementioned, we had come to.

I didn't hear from Steven Yap again.

By this point in time, I had fully honored my side of the agreement and supplied the sales copy for his new business venture. It was now up to Steven Yap of Web20KeywordFinder.com (Web 2.0 Keyword Finder) to honor his side of the contract which had previously been reached.

Fast forward today, Christmas Eve 24 December 2009...

I notice on typing Web20KeywordFinder.com into my browser window that his website has gone fully live in the past couple of days.

He has rewritten my original sales copy (murdered it, surprise, surprise) but kept many elements of my original sales copy intact.

Whilst he has changed it drastically, there are many instances of my wording used in the sales copy still. (To which as per the original agreement, I still own the full copyright.)

It is obvious to me that Steven Yap is nothing more than a con-artist. He conned me into supplying him with professional sales copy only to use it as a basis for rewriting his own sales copy with the full intention of not paying or adhering to his side of the written agreement.

This no doubt will leave me seriously out of pocket as well as wasting at least 50 hours of my professional time.

The sales copy in other words has been supplied for a paltry $100 and it is obvious that Steven Yap has absolutely no intention of paying anything further for the work which I supplied to him.

Despite emailing him, I have received no response from him, so I have finally resorted to writing up this report for RipOffReport.com to warn other small business professionals to be very wary of providing services to this individual, one Steven Yap (Warrior Forum member - Steven Seven)

As per the original agreement, since you have been completely unwilling to talk about this matter via other channels, I now completely forbid you to use absolutely any part of my original sales copy supplied, in part or in whole on your website Web20KeywordFinder.com (Web 2.0 Keyword Finder) or anywhere else to promote your business.

You are not the copyright holder to this sales copy - the copyright fully belongs to me.

You are requested in no uncertain terms to immediately desist from using any part of my original sales copy forthwith.
