I am writing to let someone know what i experienced with this establishment called a bank. I believe we were taken advantage of by this financial institution. They gave us a payment date in which made it difficult sometimes for them to receive it on time. I think this was intentional so as to incur late fees and other charges. We sent it every month on the 3rd. They always would say they did not receive it within 7 days. Wells Fargo always would add a late fee to the next payment until evenually the fees were over a thousand dollars. I disputed this at one time and asked for a copy of the dates of payments received, but they refused to send an itemized list. After this, we got a letter from the senior vice president of Wells fargo Financial National Bank Collections requesting a pay off of my account.

Potential relief

I know a lot of people who have been going through the same thing that you did. There are a lot of mortgage companies who drag people through the mud claiming they will help them, and then end up forclosing behind their back all the while once it's too late. I know a wonderful company that has helped a thousands of people in your same situation. When you have a second you should call them to see if they can help you. From what I understand they help people save their homes, and don't do anything else. www.synergyattorneyservices.com They helped a dear friend of mine save their home and I would like to see your situation resolved too.

The definition of Insanity

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, and then expecting different results.
If you always sent the payment on the 3rd and it often arrived late, why didn't you send the payment on the 2nd or 1st?
If it is because you get paid on the 3rd, then this does go against what I would normally say to not write checks that you don't have the money to cover. But if they never get the payment for at least 7 days then they would still get it after you got paid.
You have other options to have proof when you paid, Wells Fargo has Online banking where you can make payments right from their web site. Not only can you make a payment for a specific date, so if it is due on the 10th you can make it on the 10th. You can even schedule it in advance where on the 3rd you can go in and say you want it paid on the 10th.
As for when the payments were received, you get that date every month. When they send you your statement the date it was posted is in the statement. If you are going to try and play "word games", that is the same date it is received.
One other thing that I hope you aren't doing. When they send you the monthly statement and add the late fees
for the previous month. If you fail to pay those fees, even if you make the rest of the payment before the due date you are still considered late because of the remaining fees you failed to pay that were due. This has a huge compounding and "s****.>
