This company and its owners continue to put their employees at the bottom of their priority list:no pay, at risk with no radios for communication and even without any communication at all.
They either can't pay their employees on payday or pay them with bad checks.
1-payday came no checks were issued for 2 days.
2-Memorial Day weekend, payday was on Sunday. Starting Saturday afternoon we tried to contact the owners via cell phones,text message, voice mails, emails, and the company toll free number without any response. Finally received call that checks were in at 2152 Sunday. Needless to say the following day was a holiday and it took 5 more days for their bank to cash the payroll check due to NO FUNDS. Stamped with 4 non sufficient funds stamps.
3-payday came was issued a check and it took 7 days for their bank to cash the check DUE TO NO FUNDS. Stamped with 4 non sufficient fund stamps.
It's bad enough that payday is on the 10th and 25th and they don't issue payroll checks until the evening of payday anywhere between 2000 and 2400 hrs.
The PPO license ( private patrol operator) # 14161 registered to WEST COAST METRO PATROL by BSIS ( Bureau of Security and Investigative Services) went DELINQUENT as of April 31, 2008 as well as the cancellation of the firearm permit of DEAN SENA. They have been operating with a DELINQUENT (expired, cancelled) license since then.

There is a State Agency that is in charge of licensing Private Security Agencies and Private Security Guard Contracting Companies... I don't know what it is in California but someone ought to be able to tell you. It will probably be the same agency that licenses private investigators like it is in Texas.
CALL THESE PEOPLE AND TELL THEM WHAT THESE YAHOOS ARE DOING. They can be FINED, PUT OUT OF BUSINESS AND FORBIDDEN FROM EVER OPERATING ANOTHER SECURITY COMPANY OR EVEN WORKING IN SECURITY AGAIN!
IF YOU ARE LUCKY THEY MIGHT BE PUT IN PRISON TOO.
GO TO THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY WITH YOUR WORTHLESS PAYROLL CHECKS AND TELL THEM YOU WANT TO FILE THEFT OF SERVICE. THEN --JUST DO IT!
THEY WILL HUNT THEM DOWN AND MAKE THEM PAY OR PUT THEM IN JAIL UNTIL THEY DO PAY.
IN ANY CASE, THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO (EXPLETIVE DELETED) PEOPLE OVER LIKE THIS --BUT ALMOST ALL OF THEM TRY.
My cousin worked 41 hours and they only paid him for 12 and that was LAST WEEK!
He works at a private security company in Austin,Texas which I will not name because they paid him the remainder IN CASH after I CALLED UP AND TOLD THEM WHO I WAS.
One of the managers has a PARALEGAL CERTIFICATION so should know better!
And while you are at it, you should report them for any violations of OSHA Rules and Regulations and report them to the Labor Board ( or Wages and Hours whichi has offices in the Federal Building in your city...)
GOOD LUCK!
JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE A PRIVATE SECURITY COMPANY DOES NOT MAKE THEM IMMUNE FROM NOT PAYING THEIR EMPLOYEES!
IT IS CALLED THEFT OF SERVICES, FRAUD OR JUST PLAIN THEFT!
