West Coast Movers USA Poor customer service, would not explain charges, could not speak to a manager until I threatened to contact the BBB. Then they called at 7PM the night before the move to tell me they won't be coming as scheduled. Las Vegas Nevada

My girlfriend and I are moving to Colorado from Arizona. West Coast moved her things and had them in storage while I tried to set up my move. She told me that the foreman who showed up was a reall Ahole and he subsequently got fired. He kept trying to increase her contract price. First I spoke to Cheryl. I asked for Anthony but she would not put me in touch with him. They have no one in Arizona so I had to do my own inventory for an estimate. When I got the estimate, all of my charges were higher than my girlfriends. Cheryl couldn't/wouldn't explain anything. She wouldn't put me in touch with a "manager" until I threatened to contact the better business bureau.

I finally got to speak to Anthony. He gave me several discounts and I scheduled a moving date of Saturday 8/3. It is still Friday 8/2 as I write this.

I spoke to Anthony yesterday, 8/1 and everything was a go for Saturday. Anthony told me he would call me today with the time the truck would arrive. At 6:30PM, I got tired of waiting so I called Anthony and left voicemail. At 7PM, Brittany called me and said she called earlier in the day and left voicemail. No one called and there was no voicemail. She told me that they would not be coming tomorrow and gave me two excuses. One was that two weeks ago, the government reduced the number of hours a truck driver could drive in a day. The other was that, somehow miraculously, they had two foremen sick. I asked when they got sick and she said "the other day". Remember, I spoke to Anthony yesterday and he made no mention of anything odd. He also did not tell me he was going on Vacation. When I asked to talk to Anthony, Brittany said he was gone on vacation for a week.

I asked for the owners contact information and she refused to provide it. Upon researching West Coast Movers, I have found several ripoff reports and the issues that people report are very similar to my situation and my girlfriends situation. At this juncture, my girlfriend has completed her inventory and there are several items missing and damaged.

Bottom line. If one or two people have complaints, perhaps they are outliers. Stuff happens. BUT, there are so many reports about these people and I'm kicking myself in the butt now because if I'd read the reviews, I NEVER would have talked to them. I hope I get my deposit back. Do not use West Coast Movers. I understand they have no blemishes at the BBB. Until now. I have to drive to Denver on Sunday to be at work on Monday. West coast movers has screwed me royally and there is no resolution to this except to tell people so they don't get duped like I did.
