Recently January 06, 2004 I had a job interview with World Financial Group, for what I thought was a position in financial management. In the interview the position was presented as being a consultant to people needing to invest for retirement, or in need of life insurance. All I needed to do was attend their crash courses and become licensed. It now sounds too good to be true, but by the way it was presented it looked at first to be on the up & up. A point made was that they were part of the Aegon Company, a group worth about 250 billion dollars or so. Eager / naive to join after a presentation I paid a fee of $100.00 I was told was for a background check, needed due to the nature of the business.

I then was asked to attend a seminar that oriented new members to the company, I was amongst hundreds of people there. After the seminar I knew this was a ponsi or pyramid scheme, and after some investigation I found that not only was it a pyramid scheme, but by a company with a documented history of other unethical practices. The next day by both phone and email I declined there offer of being an associate and asked them to credit my MC for that $100.00. After mailing my dispute to MC I was told by Phil Schank the $100.00 was non refundable. Also MBNA Mastercard was not able to get my money back. I am disputing this transaction, I want my money back. These people also hold weekly meetings which you are encouraged to attend as often as possible which include "winner dinners" for $50.00 this is usually chicken of something that one can get elswere for about $7.99, fortunately I wised up before that.
