From the beginning of my dealings with this company they have been deceptive and dishonest. In February we ordered their GPS tracking device for kids after our autistic son went missing from school, hoping for the advertised "peace of mind". Time for delivery of the unit was advertised as 4-6 weeks.

After 8 weeks and still no device I called the company and they said that we woold have the unit within the week as the had had delays in their shipments of the unit overseas. This story went on for another 6 weeks.

We finally recieved the device in mid June and needless to say the device did not give us "peace of mind". To begin with the $400 device which is advertised as being for children from 4 to 12 years old was too small for our very slim 9 year olds wrist. We had to send it in his pocket not knowiing if it would still be in his pocket at the end of the day.

In the two months we had the device we were able to perform one successful locate. Also the actual battery life of this device was approximately 6 hours if you did not attempt to perform a locate. Attempted locates would put excessive drain on the battery. In July I called the company and requested an RMA packet. I had to request this 4 times before I was emailed the necessary forms to request a refund.

It has now been over a month since Wherify took delivery of the device and we have not seen a refund, even though we have been told a number of times "I just need to get the president's signature on the check and will mail it out today."

The lies and deception of the customer service people in this company are symptomatic of an attitude that extends into the upper management of this company (Timothy J. Neher, CEO) and throughout corporate America, THE CONSUMER DOESN'T MATTER.
