Whit Ash Furnishings Cheap imports Columbia South Carolina, Internet

My husband and I have moved to columbia a few weeks ago and trying to furnish our apartment. We bought a 4-piece bedroom from Whitash that the sales person there convinced us that is was a good deal although they knew we were looking for only two pieces. When it was delivered to our apartment, it was clear our bedroom couldn't take the four pieces and we asked to return at least one of them and they refused and said either keep it all or return it all so we kept it.

After that we went to buy a living room just because we didn't have a car to go anywhere else and Whitash is just across the road "If we had had our ride, we wouldn't have approached them". They delivered a sofa and a loveseat. 3 days later we found several tears at the bottom edge. We told them about that and they sent a leather repair person who decided that it was caused by their delivery team and said they will replace the frames along with the cushions as they went soft in less than a week.

On the delivery day, they brought only the frames and without the cushions and said they will only replace that or return them all, and we agreed because we didnt have a choice. After they put the new frames in the room, we inspected thme carefully and found they also had tears like the ones we were returning, so we sent them back.

Next day, a lady called to do the refund, and I told her that we will come to the store to pick another set that wasn't leather because obviously all the leather had problems. She transferred me to the store manager who said they they will only do us a refund and they have had issues with us since the beginning, and if we wanted to buy anything, we will have to do it elsewhere as they do not want to sell us anything.

Instead of apologizing for the trouble and the inconvenience caused by them, they mistreated us verbally. And even without this last conversation, we would not recommend them to anyone. They do not care about customer satisfaction, and we did not have any rights. We payed them in cash. They took the money and turned their backs. Do Not Buy From Whitash

I walked into Whit-Ash last Thursday to browse for a chair. I was greeted by a very helpful young man and ended up buying a beautiful couch and loveseat! The only reason I'm replying to this post is that I happened to Google the store to leave them a review and this popped up...I'm not the type of consumer that normally posts reviews, but I am so pleased with my experience that I wanted to share. I was not pressured in any way to buy anything. In fact the opposite. I also know that their prices and quality are great. I'm sitting on the most comfy couch now that I bought for 70% off. I'm a pretty savvy comparison shopper, so I know a deal and quality...Also, not only did they deliver my furniture thirty miles away, they unpacked it and fluffed the pillows! Thanks Whit-Ash and I will be back.
