White Overnight Turned over to debt collecting, theatened to ruin my credit for something I didn't order ? Internet

I had signed up for a free sample of their tooth whitening product back in April, 2007, which I never opened and I cannot find. On Thursday, 7/19/07, a debt collector, John Hawthorne from Access Capital [(619) 966-9594], called and told me that I owe White Overnight $106 for automatic shipments and I owe Access Capital a $50.00 processing fee. I told him that I don't owe anyone anything for something that I never received. He said that if I didn't pay it he would report it to the credit compaines and it will ruin my credit. He said that a lot of people have been as surprised as I was at his calls. He also told me that nothing in this life is free. He was indignant that I was upset and talking a little louder than usual. I told him that I always pay my bills on time but I wasn't paying for something that I did not owe and I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau. He said go ahead and hung up on me.
