I purchased an unlimited, lifetime license of WhiteSmoke writer V8_0_0_54 on 10/14/13. Recently, I upgraded my computer to Windows 10 Pro, and my office software to Microsoft Office Professional 2016. When I tried to install WhiteSmoke on the new system I received an error stating that my version of office was incompatible with the version of WhiteSmoke I was trying to install, and then terminated the process. On 10/12/16 I opened a customer support request ticket (#XXQ-406-72913). I received an automated email response stating that the ticket had been received. Almost a week had passed when I tried to contact customer support because the ticket was still unassigned. It took two days to reach a representitive; the company does not have voice mail or an IVR to direct the call to the proper department. When I was able to contact WhiteSmoke, I spoke to 'Jenny' who provided her company email and told me to email her the details. She then terminated the call without making certain I had her information correct, or confirming that she received the call. Today (10/21/16 - 08:02 Mopuntain Time), I emailed support and asked them to investigate and provide an explaination - as of this writing, I have not received an automated response, resolution, or even a courtsy call explaining what the problem is.
