I ordered what I thought was a genuine Lifeproof protective case for my iPhone 5 for $55. I was notified that the item was delayed due to the large demand for the case. After a two week wait, I received the item. It came in a clear plastic bag. I have a Lifeproof case for my iPad so I immediately suspected something was wrong. The iPhone case was not in a Lifeproof original package, it had no Lifeproof branding on it, it had no Lifeproof serial number, and it had no clear coating where the Apple symbol on the iPhone is displayed. The item I received from wholesalefactoryshop.com is a fake. I went back to the website and noticed there is not a phone number listed to contact them only email addresses. I've left emails for both their return department and their order department. I've yet to receive a return email. I've contacted Lifeproof directly to confirm the case is a fake and to notify them of the website. I also intend to contact the credit card company that I used to pay. I'm hoping someone sees this report before using this website. After I bought the case, I found another Ripoff Report from someone that had the same issues I did. I wish I would have checked before I placed my order.
