I have come to this conclusion that if you have good grip on SEO and online
marketing, internet could be the most effective tool of propaganda for you.
Unfortunately people already know it and have effectively used it against their
competitors. While providing good services to the end customers, defaming the
competitors is one frequently applied business tactics by various online
businesses.

I am an eBay PowerSeller and have availed the
suppliers listing at wholesale pages various times. Being a member of the eBay
UK community, I also offer my expert opinion through blogs and eBooks published
at this B2B portal. As a writer, I have learnt to be neutral and it is because
the online readers have less patience for flattery and overstatements. So
instead of talking about the good aspects of the Wholesale Pages, Id pick to
mention the points which websites use to turn people off against their
potential customers.

It is not hard to differentiate between a paid content
and real one. Just tell me how many times did you bother to write a testimonial
for a website? Your answer is enough to suggest how much paid and fabricated
content is available on internet to fool you and this content is the very
element which makes us buy whatever is thrown at us. We human are programmed to
believe in the negative stuff more easily. If you dont wish to be victim of
this mammoth sized propaganda done against different websites such as wholesale
pages, you should get registered at the portal as a free member and then decide

Everyone cannot be pleased even the greatest of leaders face opposition, this is life. I am terribly shocked to see that a person who claims to be a consumer of wholesalepages.co.uk has written so terribly about this great portal that Im a huge fan of.

Why am I a fan? Because I have earned a handsome amount through their deals and I am completely satisfied with their working. Its been quite some time now maybe more than a year since Im doing business through this portal and once in a while I too had to face some delays or cancelled orders but thats business. Its not a bed of roses always even huge stores have cancelled orders and delayed deliveries, but that doesnt mean I go over the
hill screaming scam, scam.

I would like to advise the claim to be consumer to please calm down and give it another try as businesses have their ups and downs. I would give my gratitude to the whole team of wholesalepages.co.uk for managing such a wonderful site and keeping it as business orientated as it could possibly be. I would also write down here for all others to read that before jumping to any hasty conclusions if you have any fears or doubts do contact the
support staff and you will surely receive a timely and supportive answer always, this Im saying is through my experience.

Earlier my visit to wholesalepages was not as frequent but I got regular as by the recent launch of special offers section at
wholesalepages that has brought me huge profits as I got a straight fifty percent off on special offers credits. Before using these offers, I had no idea about the genuine wholesale rates and the retail price of eBay and amazon. I was surprised to see the huge markup and learned the sure shot way to increase my profit many folds, its no joke. I could buy directly from the manufacturers /wholesale-suppliers listed on the site.

My experience with wholesale pages was great as I got discounts from various sellers on different products. At first I thought of this discount offer thing a fake one but when I got the delivery I was amazed to see products were in promised quality and
quantity. I am so in love with wholesale pages that no such lousy comments can put me against the portal.

I dont believe the authenticity of the review posted above, and in fact it seems home page analysis of wholesalepages instead of a consumer review. Even the person has failed to provide his identity and it enough to realize how credible this report would be.

It seems like some one is on a seriously dedicated project in watching and offending the integrity of Wholesale Pages. I have been the responded to a report once before here, like this one that was also a baseless childish 2 lines report!

I mean if you are going to speak against such a big business like Wholesale Pages, your report must be supplemented by adequate facts and
sound documents to be believed enough. It would be better for so called Felix Douglas here, and nobody at Wholesale Pages, though claimed to be there, to provide enough sound proofs and visible evidences instead of commenting on the wholesale pages home page look & feel and content. It would be not only better for him but also for others so that serious notice could be taken.

I used to be at Wholesale Pages as buyer since more than one year now. Few in my circle also have been there. I or they never came across any sort of silly things that have been mentioned in the report. I dont know of the numeric figure that how many wholesalers do Wholesale Pages have. But whenever I uploaded a lead there, my lead received good responses, suppliers contacted me with their latest offers, prices were favorable, shipment was on time as committed and the products quality was satisfactorily.

Even I have also joined them at facebook http://www.facebook.com/wholesalepages, whenever I had a difficulty or query about their latest deals I used to talk to their representative there, they respond you very well to your query and stay in touch until satisfaction.

Anyways, without providing solid proofs and evidences solid, not only this report but even the identity of so called Felix Douglas is questionable.

The first accusation of this fake user is:

They claim to have verified suppliers, when I signed up I got the most outdated, irrelevant, non-exclusive, unverified, nonexistent, asking for more money, seriously impaired, suppliers list I have ever spent money on.

Reply: Please provide us a single example of a supplier listed on our portal which you have found to be fake or out-dated . Dont just mention they are fake, provide evidence to your claim. We verify and check all wholesalers and a few of them provide exclusive discounts(http://www.wholesalepages.co.uk/discounts/) to our members. Read our testimonials (http://www.wholesalepages.co.uk/testimonials/) and contact (http://www.wholesalepages.co.uk/contact/contact.php) the suppliers directly to determine what they feel about site. Now this is evidence, not merely nonsensical statements that have been made in the claim.

Their second claim is:

The first paragraph is known to be the place where eyeballs gravitate. And what they have in the first paragraph should tell you they could care less about you and your business

Reply:  Again another absurd statement. Please visit our site and tell us whats wrong with describing a portal or business in the first paragraph. WHERE are we ACTUALLY saying that we dont care about our users business or company. In fact we strive on providing the best customer service and as mentioned before, please contact our staff to get a prompt reply and determine the quality of our services yourself.

Their third claim is:

They list 11 terms that relate to wholesaling and it is not even in a sentence form. It is just there for page ranking. Thats it, they just want to show up when you search one of those terms. Let that be a warning that they dont have what they claim they are selling. Its a giant mirage.

Reply: The fake user has clearly given in that they are an imposter. Why we say this? All products on our home page are relevant offers which are no older than a few days and we guarantee and challenge anyone to check these offers as our member and if they cant find the products listed from suppliers then we will refund double the fee of their membership. These special offers are hand-picked by our staff and we spend hours collecting them so please dont insult everyones intelligence by coming up with such dumb remarks. And what is the meaning of they are there for page ranking. They are there for our users and nothing more.

Fourth Claim

Now look at the next thing that grabs your attention. The flashing updates of news that are supposed to tell you how many new product listings they have been adding lately. Another misleading attempt to suck you dry of your money. They list thousands and thousands of new products in so many different categories it makes your head spin. What are they trying to convince you of? Theyre saying, we have every product under the sun, what category do you want, you name, we have. This is absolute Bologna Stew.

Reply: The so called flashy news is just a simple one line news ticker on the site. Where is the flashing update in there?  Since when, giving latest updates and news about your portal is considered trying to suck you dry out if your money. Our news is 100% accurate and again if someone is willing to provide us factual evidence then perhaps we might consider taking their
accusations seriously.

What this user has done is just a total and utter waste of our time. On our entire site there is not even a single mention about the claim that we are portraying a message that we have every product under the sun. What we do have is a state of the art technology integrated with our site via which we are able to acquire products from various suppliers directly through their feeds only for our valuable members. We believe in delivering and not just try to hurt other businesses like the fake poster of this report.

Fifth Claim

After I signed up, I had to dig so hard to even come close to the technology equipment I was looking for I was about to pull my hair out. And when I found some remotely related products, the suppliers were total garbage. Several wanted me to pay more to even see their lists. Most were so out of date I could have bought the products to sell as artifacts in technology and could have made more money.

Reply: Firstly, please provide us the username to verify that you are an active member of our portal. We have not been able to find any member in our database by the name of Felix Douglas. So either you are using a fake identity on this forum which speaks a lot about your credibility or you never actually signed-up with us. When you say suppliers were total garbage, would you be kind enough to list these suppliers here on the forum so that we can investigate this false claim. Buying technology products as artefacts, wow we are impressed with you analysis. How many sites can we find on the net, which sell electronics or technical equipment which were being sold in 70s or 80s. We cant and if anyone can then please do let us know as we would also like to buy these so CALLED artefacts ourselves.

Sixth Claim

They claim over on the right hand side of the page to have 93,000 verified suppliers. This is an outright lie. It is not humanly possible, I dont care how cheap you can outsource people, that anyone can possibly verify 93,0000 wholesalers. It is an absolute fabrication meant to deceive you into believing this is the only place you need to go.

Reply: So are you claiming that 93,000 is an infinite number? If verifying 93,000 entries is not humanly possible then perhaps half of the internet is not being operated by humans. We currently have a team of 5 QA staff members and their sole purpose is to verify these companies. Its takes 5 to 15 minutes to verify one and they end up verifying 40x5 = 200 or so companies in a single day. Do the maths, it would take one year and 100 days for them to verify these companies. We have been in business since 2003, so I guess we had a lot of time to perform this task. Not to mention that we outsource work too as times.

Seventh Claim:

They show some current posts from people who are looking to buy and sell on the site. They want you to believe that there is this vibrant community of UK-based people who spend all day falling right into your lap with perfect products they want to sell you at perfect prices. And that there are people looking to buy wholesale goods at prices that might make you a super profit. This turns out to be what? You guessed it, rubbish

Reply: For you kind information, no one besides the complainant guessed that this information was rubbish cause its actual data submitted by real people/buyers. Simply sign-up and contact these people and be surprised to get real human replies from the other end. We are not only sure but can write in our blood that this is a completely false and fake report full of blatant lies. Every lead on our site is manually and carefully checked by our staff before its posted on the site. Reply:  We think by this time the fake poster has lost it all. We are not even sure which postings he is referring to? Additionally we are not claiming that you will be making money on our site, we are a portal where you can find cheap and latest wholesale resources. Its up to the user to utilize these great resources to increase their trading profits and revenues. We are always there to help our members and guide them in the right direction but no effort means no return, and this fake poster clearly falls in this category.

Lastly, the person who has left the review at Ripoff report does not even have an account with us and we openly challenge them to give us their user details and rather than giving an opinion of what the site looks like, talk about facts and let us know in an open letter, what particular services were not delivered.

In the entire report the complainant has mostly analysed our home-page and nothing else. A true user would have used the site, evaluated various sections and then discussed each one individually, not merely talk about the home page. Would have quoted live examples of fake suppliers and other accurate facts to support their claim.

He has also very cleverly sited links of other such fake reports. Could anyone please let me know why a genuine person would bother mentioning links to other similar fake reports? These links have been very shrewdly placed at various intervals within the post. If a normal sane complainant was to mention these links then they would gather them up and mention them under one heading, however if the purpose was to just hurt and defame our business, so that no reader misses these links then obviously they would spread them across the post, just the way this poster has done so.

As always we would humbly request the Ripoff Report staff to remove this fake post and ban this users account.
