I am very leary about buying anything on TV that is supposedly not sold in stores. One of my local television stations does a weekly feature they call "deal or dud" where they do research on these type of products. This particular product is called the Wiindshield Wonder. It is a terry cloth type sponge on a movable handle that makes it easy for you to reach the corners of your car's interior windshield. It was given a good rating. It's one of these buy one get one free just pay seperate s&h. The product itself was $10 but the s&h was $13.98. Oh well, I was getting two of them so I didnt care. I place the order on line on Sept. 6th. Just two days later I get a call "thanking me" for being such a loyal customer. Right away I knew they were trying to sell me something else. I immediately said I wasn't interested. I eventually had to hang up when this guy wouldn't shut up. I have yet to receive it and no payment has posted to my bank account. I called the Windshield Wonder people and they said my bank would not clear the payment. I have an excellent credit score so I found that hard to believe. I called my bank and discover that the Windshield Wonder people cancelled my order on the 7th. Apparently when you submit you bank card on line it goes to your bank as pending. So it looks like since I didn;t want to order the additional products that this company decided that they didn;t want my business. Oh by the way, this "not available in stores" product is available at Target.
