WCP is trying to bill me 82.11 a month for magazines I did not order. I have called to have myself removed, which they say I can't. They swear at me tell me they are taking me to court, and continue to harass me by phone. Any advice from anyone else dealing with these people would be greatly appriciated.

Contact The Authorities

Write them a letter, certified mail, return receipt requested, advising them that you did not order anything from them, that you have told them so verbally and they are to stop all attempts to collect a debt that is not yours. CC the letter to your Attorney General's office, their Attorney General's office and your local District Attorney's office. It could be considered theft if they are attempting to collect a nonexistant debt or it could be identity theft. Either way, making sure they know you have contacted knowledgeable parties should get their attention. Good luck.
