On Nov. 14th 2009 I went online and ordered a free 14 day trial of an Acai supplement for weight loss. It took one week to get to me. So now I only had 7 days of my 14 day free trial to test the product.

I had not thought of reading the fine, very fine print at the bottom of the page. If I would have I would not have gotten taken. For they stated that I only had 14 days from the date of the order to contact them and cancel my supposed free trial supplement.

I went to the website of the product I had been sent to me. Only to see that they offer a 20 day free trial offer of the same product. But if that were the case I was still charged for the product after only 17 days of use.

Something is very rotten in Denmark so to speak. I contacted them on Dec. 22nd after seeing 4 charges on my credit card. Two where for the product in the amount of 79.62. The other 2 were shipping charges of 3.95. I told them to cancel my free trial acct.

I told them that I was not satisfied with the results. Not a pound did I loose. They said that some people in order to see results would have to take the product for 3 months. I would have only lost weight in the fact that I was out money in my pocket.

 I said not according to your add that states in 10 days up to 43 pounds. They said I could send back any unused supplement and they would refund me only that way. I said how could I do that when I had taken it all. I then thought of a way I could send it back. In a barf bag or stool sample.  Boy what a dummy I was. No more.

I'm planning on reporting them to the Consumer Protection Agency also. We'll see who looses then.
