To all consumers who want to sell your used car.

Last week I decided to sell a truck that I no longer needed. I called up the AZ Republic and talk to a nice lady that took my order and that was it.

A few days later I get a call from a guy who I feel owns Independentsystems. This guy named Bryant Cass tells me that the type of truck I am selling will not sell fast in the newspaper.

He told me that in his records it shows him that the type of truck that I am selling has in the past sells real fast on his web site.

I tell him in plain english to "REMOVE MY NUMBER OFF OF HIS SUCKER LIST" or I will file a Rip Off Report if he calls me again.

I came home yesterday and what do I hear on my voice mail? A second call from this "Internet Sales Clown"

I feel that this Clown is "COLD CALLING" anybody and everybody that places an auto for sale add in newspapers across the country and dumping his BS on them.

Trying to sucker consumers into paying him a ridiculous fee of $89.95 to place a add on his web site. Telling the cold calling victims that he guarantees that his web site will help you sell your car for the price you are trying to get. yea RIGHT!

If you are trying to sell a car that you no longer need, remember that there are tons of web sites that you can place a FREE auto add. Why would any one pay this "internet Clown" a fee of $89.95 is beyond me.

I will "cold Call" some of the consumers who have placed an add on thebiglot.com and have them post their feelings about thebiglot.com on the Rip Off Report. This will be cool.

Bryant Cass I told you if you called me a second time that I would file a Rip Off Report.

Hey Bryant take some time and go to www.google.com and do an advanced search with an exact phrase "Rip Off Report" an see how many pop up.

Did you actually talk to Bryant?

AUTHOR: James - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, August 18, 2003

I've been contacted by this same person and was just wondering if you actually spoke to Bryant long enough to find out if his business is legitimate and whether the "guaranteed refund" is what he claims it to be. I'd also like to know if you "cold called" any of Mr. Cass's clients to see if they were satisfied with his service - after all, you said you'd do that too.

I, for one, would love to be guaranteed that I will get the price I'm asking for my car. I have already used to online services and spent well over the $89 and my car is still not sold.

From the sounds of the original report, it seems the writer was just upset that he was cold called and didn't bother to check out the business or it's claims before claiming them to be nothing more than a ripoff.

Maybe some of Bryant's other customers could give us a more accurate picture of thebiglot.com and Bryant. After all, an EDUCATED consumer is the best customer.
