They promise us a full refund of all fees if not satisfied but when we asked for a refund they appear to have
carefully covered themselves "legally" so that they wouldn't have to give us any refund.

The tricky "conditions" of the full refund were only clear after the fact and they were not what was implied in all
of our "verbal" sales talk.

I was told yesterday by a Yodle rep that "under no circumstances will Yodle EVER refund our money". When I asked for a supervisor I was told that "there was no supervisor to talk to".

Quite a different story than what they told us signing up.

Yodle claims bad keywords with ZERO traffic "proof of service"

AUTHOR: Elizabeth - ()

POSTED: Thursday, November 14, 2013

We gave Yodle a chargeback in attempt to get a refund. They submitted documents to our credit card company claiming "services rendered".

Their proof shows #1 and #2 position on search engines. Sounds good right? WRONG! The terms they're using as their "proof of services rendered" have ZERO traffic according to Google.

It's EASY to get a #1 or #2 position for a junk search term. It's like being top of your class in a class of 1. You can get all F's and still be top of your class.

For a company as large as Yodle to claim that this is good internet marketing or "services rendered". I am appalled. They have got to know better than this and if they don't, they need to get out of the business.

Terms Provided AFTER We Were Charged

AUTHOR: Elizabeth - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, November 13, 2013

I see Yodle is very concerned about responding to every complaint posted publicly on the internet. However before I posted my complaint we tried multiple times to resolve this with Yodle privatly. Public concern means nothing if you won't actually work with us in prirvate.

Yesterday our rep again told us "under no circumstances will Yodle EVER refund your money". When I asked to talk to a supervisor to attempt to resolve this (again in private) I was told "there's no supervisor you can talk to"

----

Yes, you provided written terms AFTER your charged us. Your verbal sales talk stressed full refund if not satisfied. The verbal sells talk stressed no risk to you, if you're not happy just ask us for a refund.

Your written terms which we only saw after you already charged us appeared to be phrased to say somthing that was almost the same as what we heard on the phone but with just enough extra words that the meaning wasn't what was implied on the phone.

We even called for clarification AFTER we saw the sales terms and AGAIN we were told, full refund if we're not happy. Two of us called and talked with different reps and all said ALL funds would be returned if not satisfied. They did not clearly state  any stipulations or conditions of a refund.

We only heard about those stipulations and conditions when we requested a refund, at which point we were told not once, but in two seperate calls to Yodle that under no circustances would Yodle EVER refund our money.

I guarantee we would have never considered using Yodle if our sales reps had said "Yodle provids full or partial refunds under certain circumstances."

Hi B.L. – My name is Jasmine Teer and I work on the communications team at Yodle. I just spotted this comment and I would like to speak with you about your experience to see what I can do to help find a resolution. I am not sure who you have spoken with at Yodle, but I'd like to find out what happened. I saw your profile on another website and I believe that you are with a business called Rubber Duck Deisgn, but I don’t see that business listed as one of Yodle’s clients. Please contact me directly to discuss this matter. You can reach me at jteer@yodle.com or (212) 542-5403. It is also worth mentioning that Yodle has provided full or partial refunds under certain circumstances. We also provide our clients with terms and conditions when they become clients. Best regards.
