A agent has a resposibility to negotiate for term of a contract.first of all there needs to be No conflict of interest , since Jason works for Josh there seems to me to be alot of double dipping all the way around.First Josh charges these guys like 3000 to go to school, then he takes 30 to 40 percent. When in Ca he can take 10, possible 20. How can Josh be there agent and train them and book them. It looks like alot of conflict of interest to me.
Also as a agent Jason is resposible to make sure these guys are legal business, so far I have not been successful in proving this on each one of them. Then thee is the problem of Josh having these guys teach his classes, rock the stage 2012, it looks to me that Josh has crossed the line to use them as enployess according to under ground economy rules. When you tell some one what and were to teach or use them alot, they are your enployees.
Then there is the problem of booking them to do jobs which you need a talent agent license.Josh is not a talent agent. It is my personal opinion that Josh is exploiting these students for personal gain, a conflict of interest, and my hope is that the state of CA attend his next class at ROCK THE STAGE IN MAY, 2012, and since JOSH is the one booking all these people, he according to agent laws is responsible for all them. Since I am not an attorney my hope is that the state agencies, and the I.R.S will look into all the going on of this company and decide for themself.

This claim is 100% FALSE (read this detailed rebuttal)

As you can probably tell from carefully reading this "review"
1) This person is NOT an actual customer of ours and thus doesn't have any legitimate experience with the quality training YSU provides.
2) The claim that we take a percentage is 100% inaccurate and completely FALSE
Let me be very clear:
- YSU is a preeminent training program of the highest quality backed by a no questions asked 30-day money back promise. If customers don't love YSU for any reason - they simply email us and we refund their money. No hoops. No questions asked. No games.
- YSU does NOT, I repeat does not under any circumstance take a percentage of the speaking fees you earn. We teach you how to craft, deliver and market your message. You, of course, pay for the course -- but that's it. Any fees you earn are 100% yours.
- YES, I am a foster kid and proud to be one. I've made mistakes, been open about them, and use them as a lesson to young people.
Gotta love anonymous "reviewers" on the internet : )

paid youth speaker gig, free training

This is what his ads on the net say,but what does it mean, does it mean Josh is going to train people to go do gigs, so he can have a percent. When I looked into the coarse it was talking about me paying 3,500 dollars. So what is the free training all about, a one time shot, since it says only Serious people need to apply. Someone needs to take a Serious look at Joshs ads. I think he wants to clone himself, so he can make, more money. He says that he has all thses jobs that he can;t do because he is so busy doing t.v. I no there are laws, precents he can take, rules since he is not a talent agent. Again, someone needs to take a close look at all this. What he says in his pitch, is not making sence. Also the fact that he goes to high schools gets paid and tells the kids that he makes all this money doing public speaking, he even quotes amounts, then the kids run to buy his books at the back of the room and sign up to be public speakers. I even question the sales at the back of the room, I believe the money is suspost to go to the non profit school. FOR ALL THOSE STUDENTS, Josh can not take more then about 12%,if he book you. AGAIN I am not an attorney, so someone smarter then me needs to look at this. This is all my own personal opinion.
