Botach Tactical fails to ship order on time, then to wrong address, and is rude to the customer!

Bogus company, bad customer service, terrible refund policy.

I ordered a pair of boots through "Botach Tactical" on Amazon. The order was placed on February 28th. They didn't communicate with Amazon or myself for over a week, and on March 6th I actually received an email from Amazon saying that there was a problem with the order because Botach hadn't even acknowledged it yet or made any attempt to communicate with Amazon. On March 11th I finally got an email saying Botach had shipped the order, and somehow managed to ship it to the wrong address!

I immediately notified them of their mistake, and their response was to try to blame me for giving them the wrong address! My address on file with Amazon was correct and had been updated recently, so it definitely was not my fault. They continued to deny any fault, dodged any possibility of a refund, and even when I suggested that they contact UPS and ask UPS to retrieve the package from the address it had been mistakenly sent to, they insisted that I pay for it!

At that point I contacted Amazon and told them what was going on. Amazon instantly granted a refund because it was obvious that Botach had screwed up and wasn't cooperating to get it resolved the way that Amazon dealers are expected to do so. Thank God I used Amazon for this order and didn't dare go through Botach's private website. I would never see my boots or a refund based on the way these people treat their customers!

Maybe the worst part of all is that when I gave Botach a negative review on Amazon, they couldn't resist sending a reply... still trying to blame me! Other reviewers warned that their customer service was arrogant and refused to correct mistakes, and now I've seen that for myself first hand!

If you need a pair of boots, go direct to the manufacturer website. It may be a little more expensive, but at least you will get what you paid for! You will get nothing but bad attitude and missing packages from Botach!
