Satcchi jewelry. Farid saatchi is a crook Mission Viejo California

I wish I had reao the report here and Yelp before getting myself involved with this crook. It was august of 2011 when he advertized replacement watch battery fo 99 cent. I went in and in the course of the transaction he told me if I needed to buy any watch or jewelry, he could get them at wholesale price and 50% off retail.  I said okay. on October 1st, 2011, my house of 20 years in mission Viejo was burglarized and the thief took the save that housed my jewelry collected over the last 30 years in this country and ransacked my husband's drawers for all his high end watches from Movado to cartier, Bueme and Marcier to Gerald Genta.  

All along I thought we had insurance and to find out that if the jewelry were not insured separately, the reimbursement is only $2500.  It was hard but we felt our safety was more important and moved on.  On November 4th, I went to Satchii on his previous promise and told him I wanted a Bueme and marcier watch that I saw online for $1995 and if he could get it for $1895, I will order from him.  I had mine on when the thief came and I wanted the his for My husband.  Farid looked online at the website that I gave him and I was dumb to write a check for the full amount. He promised 3 weeks.he also asked if I could write reviews for him on Yelp because some people  were trying to distroy his business and if I could get my friends to do the same, he will get them gifts. I told myself I wasn't gonna do that! Little did I know what I was getting into. 3 weeks became months.

On January 23rd, 2013, I filed a small claim as I was tired of his games and run arounds. He wouldn't give me my money back but a credit at his store. the court date was March 12th. We both showed up and the bailiff announced that for business owners, it might be better to go arbitration, I was stupid and agreed as I did not want to ruin his business but to get my money back. I gave my side of the story to the arbitrator, how he wanted me to get a used Cartier for $3500 and I said I was not given him a dime more. My time and court fees is  more than the difference. How I have tried to work with him for months and it is the same run around games. The man turned to Farid for his story and he said " everything she said is 100% true" You can see the shock on the poor man's face.  

Farid then agreed to give me used cartier without additional money within 30 days. We are now in June and its been the  same, trying to get me to pay more or buy something else. I have resulted in collecting junks from him to make up  for part of the money. Each time he gives something and told me its worth thousands anI I took it to another jeweler, they newer not real.  

At this point, am going back to court because I have 90 days from the filling date to go back or just take my losses and move on. Please, let us use the tools that is now available to us and check out businesses before dealing with them and end up amother Farid. Thank for reading, I hope it help others.
