This "dealership" is disgusting.  My husband bought a car on January 29, 2013.  Firstly, Mike (salesman), told my husband that the vehicle to be purchased was never in an accident.  Husband ran the vin number that was on the Buyers Guide on the vehicle.  That vin came back clean.  Car looked decent and from what the salesman told him, it was a great buy (ha!).  On January 30, 2013, my husband was driving home from work (this is the only time he's driven the car other than driving home from the lot) and the check engine light comes on.  Lets see, someone conveniently clear the codes before purchase?!?  He got home and called the dealership.  He was told that it wasn't their problem.  The next day, we contacted him again after finding out that the vin # on our buyers guide was not the correct vin # of the vehicle we purchased!!!  The vin that we had a car fax ran on wasn't even the car we purchased!!  We ran the vin # for the correct vehicle and found out that the car we purchased was in an accident in 2006 (dealer caught in a lie now!).  Also, this dealer rolls back miles on cars, I have a carfax report to show that!  He also "replaced" the odometer in the purchased vehicle because it was supposedly broken.  Now I think otherwise!  Contacted the dealer again and he said "Go f**k yourself" and hung up on my husband.  We are now filing a report with the Attorney General fraud department.  This dealership is ridiculous, not willing to work with us and sells cars under false pretenses.

Jennifer  This is clearly fraud and deceptive practices on dealers part. Don't get upset by pointless rambling, there are state & federal departments that protect the consumer from fraud & deceptive practices. The Secretary of State police and Attorney General will help you. Good luck.

To the idiot Troll..... Grow a pair

Firstly, If you're going to call someone incompetent, make sure you're competent before doing so.  Obviously you cannot read, nor understand the english language.

Secondly, had you READ the report and UNDERSTOOD english, you would know that the DEALER put the incorrect buyers guide ON THE VEHICLE.  (This is illegal).  So when we ran a car fax BEFORE purchasing the vehicle, the report showed nothing wrong.......big pause here.......BECAUSE IT WASN'T FOR THE CORRECT VEHICLE.  The vehicle we purchased AND the incorrect vin # were for the same make, model and year vehicle, so no, I am not incompetent.

Thirdly, nobody gives a crap about the check engine light coming on......this is how we found out that the dealer gave FALSE information, which again, is against the law.  We are aware that when buying a used vehicle there will be problems but thank you for your insight into something nobody asked you about.

Slander is a FALSE MALICIOUS STATEMENT.  None of these accusations are false, so get off your high horse and take the stick out of your @ss.  Apparently, you work for the dealership or are good ole buddies with Mike but would rather remain anonymous for some odd reason?

Stop trolling like you have nothing better to do in life and kick rocks =)

Jennifer, there is a dept. at secretary of state called " secretary of state police " this looks to me like this dealer did something to you that is against the Federal law. what I would recommend you to do is to call the Secretary of state police, and place this complaint to them about  this dealer the number is ( 217-782-7126 ) they have more authority over dealerships than the BBB or Attorney General. Good Luck

So you went and bought a car from a Used Car Dealership... Now that you have it, you complain because its not all you thought it was... Honestly, I would be embarassed to post that picture on this forum because it shows you werent even competent enough to read through and verify the deal.  Buyers remorse is a terrible thing, especially when you can get so upset as to slander a company or person on the internet. Now, If my car is getting old, I sell it. The trans may be slipping, the engine could have some rattles. The paint may be faded, scratched.... Doesnt matter, the car will drive point A to point B.  My car has had the check engine light on for 4 years... I didnt take it back to Hawkinson Ford and argue and cry that it was on.. I bought a USED car and thats the product I received...  Stop whining like a kid who lost his candy and get on with your lifes. Trolololo

Please explain to me how returning a vehicle for a refund is trying to extort money?  So sorry you weren't willing to be a MAN and fix what you screwed up.  You're such a horrible liar.  Here's the photos for everyone to see what a disgusting human being you are.  I bet you take pride in what a d****ebag you are.   No, there are no threats, the report has been filed, as well as one with the BBB, the New Lenox Police Department and our bank.

Please notice how the buyers guide states a COMPLETELY different vin# than the actual contract!!!!!
