Thanks, Apache Junction and the other ex-employee that wrote in and let people know about this company. I actually quit another job to take a job with ICS, only to quit after one week. They seem really nice and informed in the beginning, but my manager was a video tech, not an investigator who knew nothing about investigations. Absolutely nothing. But even though they promoted her to supervisor which was incredible considering, she was a nice lady who had no idea what any of the investigators were talking about and nothing about investigations. Had never done it.

But the main problem with this company folks, is this. If you don't mind being told y ou are going to make 18.25 per hour, and make half of that, go ahead and work for them. If you will take the 9.00 per hour even though you were promised in writing, double, go ahead. In addition, when your first paycheck comes, you will find that they will then not pay you for any travel time nor pay you for the hours you worked. So, you will have two problems with your paycheck and you will be as surprised as I.

The guy that wrote in that said he is still employed, let me say this. I don't mean to be insulting whatsoever, but I will bet anything you are an inexperienced investigator who was just glad to get a job. I say this because I was just like you twelve years ago. I was hard up. No more. I now have twelve years of solid experience as a licensed private investigator and I am not going to put up with this like you won't once you get some time under your belt. I quit after one week when I saw they went against everything they said about the money even though they put it in writing. The state labor board is investigating this and told me yesterday they are going to file a lien against them for the pay they promised.

This company is only for inexperienced investigators just starting out who want some experience. I would rather be unemployed then work for these sharks. I have now found another position with a reputable agency. I talked to another employee who said this has been happening to him for four years by ICS Merrill but he has a family to support,lives in a small town and cannot find another job.

I understand if you have a family or are inexperienced as an Investigator. But as soon as you can, get away from this company as fast as you can. I was happy to see and appreciate the other's comments about this company. Good luck to all of you.
