B & B Sprinklers Tyler Hammond Sprinkler repair rip off Tarpon Springs Florida

I hired B & B Sprinklers on 3/19/2019, based on the A reviews on Angie's List. owner Tyler Hammond did not give us a quote or estimate. He was hired to repair leaking sprinklers and adjust others. I stayed with him in the rain to keep him out of the garage after telling him we had an issue with theft.

After he said he was finished and going to his truck to write it up, I went inside for my checkbook. I walked back in the garage and saw him stealing a box of our property. He also took our working sprinkler heads that I could have reused. Then he gave us a bill for $470.70 for a little over 2 hours of work.

I paid him because he told me several stories about threatening people who did not pay him and he appeared to be under the influence. I contacted him later and he admitted to the theft. He promised to return the stolen items but did not show up as promised.

The police said if I had done more research, I would have seen that the A ratings on Angie's list were due to the former owner, not Tyler. Tyler did not return the phone calls to police. I tried to stop payment on the check but he immediately cashed it after leaving here, I went out today to check the sprinklers.

Not only are they not fixed, they are much worse than they were before he "fixed" them.. When I texted Tyler, his response was to threaten me with a lawsuit for slander.
