The A/C Therapist Richard Morales Wrong Diagnosis/Inventing non-existent problems to rip-off customers and steal money Tampa Hillsborough

Potentially Fraudulent HVAC contractor who appears to invent problems with AC just so that he can overcharge and collect more money from customers. This A/C contractor is a potential fraudulent dishonest contractor. This contractor does not perform proper diagnosis and invents problems with AC and possibly steals money from customers. I called his company to diagnose an AC issue in my home. The technician comes over (I was not at home), performs a poor diagnosis.

The technician never calls me and I had to call the contractor to find out what the problem was. He tells me that the reversal valve has gone bad(which is completely wrong diagnosis) and gives me a $1,190 cost to fix the issue. I did not believe him. I then hired a different contractor and he fixed the problem and it was not a reversal valve issue. I got the problem fixed for under $250. The actual diagnosis is as follows:

"Started system and found outdoor unit is not working correctly. The reversal valve is not getting power up. Control board in the outdoor unit is bad. Bypassed board until we get a new control board. Replaced the control board and turned power on and unit started cooling. Everything is working properly at this time."





I'm worried that this contractor may be doing the same thing he did to me to other customers. Other customers will potentially be paying him for problems that don't exist.

Please investigate this contractor's AC diagnosis for fraudulently charging customers for problems that don't exist.
