I have two charges on my bank statement for 12-3-19 and 12-5-19 for Amazon Marketplace Telecheck. I do not use this service to pay my Amazon bill.

My Amazon payments have been cleared through my bank and then these charges pop up in my statement a couple of days later.

I feel this is fraudulent and I want them refunded. I will contact my bank when they are open and also try to contact Amazon and the number for the charges.

If I do not get a satisfactory outcome, I will be reporting them. If anyone has a solution to this, please advise.

AUTHOR: Rich - (United States)

My wife was trying to get a credit from amazon, they could not credit back because coincidentally her ccard was hacked and cosed by the bank, after a few days of calls amazon whos reps you can bearly understand said the would mail her a check which over two weeks still havent recieved. after looking at here checking account noticed two charges one for 66.77$ and one for 26.49$ both on the same days that she called amazon. the charges say Amazon Marketplace telecheck internet. these charges were not brought up nor autherized by her.

this is unfair buisness practice and should be stopped.

Still investigating

I have never had a problem with making payments and there was always money in account to cover the payments. This is something totally new. Amazon tells me that it is for orders I placed. I will be checking them against what has been withdrawal from my checking account. I have yet to get through to Telecheck to get their input.

#1 Consumer Suggestion

Telecheck fee

AUTHOR: Walter - (United States)

POSTED: Saturday, December 07, 2019

Did your payment go through your bank the first time or was it declined and then went through a second time?

From Amazon website: https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=202036670

When Amazon is given check information for payment and it's declined, the account is turned over to TRS and a returned check fee is accessed. Even if the payment was then paid by your bank, you still owe a returned check fee for it being declined the first time.
