Artivist Does Not Pay For Services Rendered. Los Angeles , California

This "company" doesn't pay for the work that they have you do. They have been shopping a web site project that needs work done to it in Joomla. The site is a total mess. They have screwed 4 developers out of their hard earned money.

They have stolen work from two developers, threatened and harassed two of the developers among other things.

I would avoid doing any work for them. If you want to, at least try to make them pay a deposit.

If you notice, the person who posted this "Rip Off Report" did not have the courage to state their name, their company name, which "4 developers" they are referring to, OR any FACTS. Sounds like someone is lying and has something to hide.
On the other hand, we have nothing to hide and will gladly set the record straight.

My name is Diaky Diaz and I am the President-Founder of the Artivist Film Festival. We hired a web developer to complete our website. This developer made lots of promises, took a hefty downpayment (more than 50%), and signed a contract to have services completed by a certain date. Almost 3 months after the contractual date the website was less than 50% completed due to the Developers lack of experience and lack of integrity!
Since the developer broke the contract by failing to provide the completed service on the specified date (and it was now almost 3 months after the due-date) we ended the contract. We paid more than 50% of the costs and received less than 50% of the site, PLUS we wasted 3 months of our Charity's time. In the end, we had to scratch all of their work and start with a new developer. As you can see, it is US who should be filing a "Rip-Off-Report" against this developer, who still had the audacity to demand more money from us.
If this "developer" truly had a case, he would have stated his name, provided facts, and taken us to court. None were done. Now, you judge for yourself whether this public complaint is no more than a blackmailing scam by an unethical businessman.
