Notaries and clients beware of company Asset Recovery, Inc. I was assigned a signing to complete and within one day of accepting, the client called me and said she was sick with a cold. I told Richard MacPhie this and he wanted to meet with her the next day.

After I thought about this and this COVID-19 pandemic that is killing thousands of Americans, I decided to cancel and this is the RACIST response that I received. I will let it speak for itself. I would not do business with them if I was brown, white, hispanic, purple, gold, or even yellow.

Antonious NeSmith  1:23 PM (4 hours ago) to richardmacphie, Brian  Due to client mentioning being under the weather I am cancelling this signing. I am taking zero chances of catching COVID-19. Money is not worth it. I wish you the best. Hopefully I can help out on another one in the future.   Thanks,   Antonious NeSmith   Richard MacPhie  Sat, Apr 18, 2020 at 1:33 PM To: Antonious NeSmith <admin@goodhandssc.org> Thanks for telling me, you unprofessional piece of sh*t. Were you going to tell me? I keep trying to prove I'm not racist, and ya'll keep acting lazy, irresponsible and unprofessional. Get out of this line of work. Real people are trying to get work done, you complete piece of sh*t

Notary Unprofessional Conduct

AUTHOR: Richard - (United States)

POSTED: Monday, April 20, 2020

The complaining Notary accepted a gig from me. This was involving tens of thousands of dollars. NeSmith decided NOT to complete the job, and he never told me. He never mentioned to me that he was under the weather, and when I finally discovered the task went unaddressed, he texted that "chasing down clients isn't included in his fee."

Mobile notaries perform critical functions in business, and usually conduct themselves as professionals, and I have enjoyable relationships with the vast majority of notaries. Tee fact that he filed this report spreaks to his immaturity and lack of integrity; if he has a disagreement with me, airing what he thinks is dirty laundry in not the professional route.

Having dealt with this person, he is an urban, unprofessional, huckster who treats his notary position as a "gig job" who feels nothing about leaving professional clients high-and-dry. His credentials should be withdrawn.

And the Race Card manuever is laughable.

DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON FOR NOTARY JOBS
