Huh?

AUTHOR: Flint - (Afghanistan)

POSTED: Sunday, July 30, 2023

I'm very confused how someone could mistake the DMV website with that one.  For one, the California DMV website includes the word "dmv" in the URL, and it ends in ".gov" to indicate that it's a government website, as opposed to ".com", which stands for "commercial entity".  Hell, it's at the bottom of every CA license plate and in about 10 different places on the renewal notice.  Two, it specifically says on that website that they are not the DMV.  Three, they show you the fees before you pay.

Nothing "Tricky" About It!

Did the website address end in "DOT COM"??? That was a DEAD GIVEAWAY this was NOT a government site! Did you even bother to READ anything on that website where it told you IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS it was NOT a government website? Within ONE SECOND of going to this website I saw it was a "DOT COM". Why couldn't YOU see that? With a FEW SECONDS I scrolled to the bottom where it very plainly and in English said it WAS NOT a government website. Why didn't YOU see that? These places exist because they know this society is top heavy with people who don't even use elementary COMMON SENSE to see who their dealing with. NO RIP OFF HERE! YOU failed to see who you were dealing with and information to disclose that was available to YOU as soon as that page appeared on the screen.
