This company does not do what it purports to do.  They took a double payment from us for the month of July by taking both a check and a credit card payment.  At the beginning of August, they cancelled our supposed coverage without warning and without sending an additional bill.  They are liars and con artists.  Do not buy anything from them!!

Two Payments???

 First off, Car Shield is without any doubt a slimy operation full of gigantic hype, claims and promises but providing little to no back up of those claims. Secondly, complaint after complaint exists because people WILL NOT READ the Terms and Conditions BEFORE they agree to them and expect anything and everything to be covered when it isn't and is very plainly listed in the policy for everyone to read. However, your problem is different. How did they get the check for the payment? What was the interval between the check and card payments? Did you cancel their alleged "service" and then they took the payments? You have every right and you should do this as soon as you've read the last word in my response...put it into contest with the bank. DO THAT NOW...not tomorrow or next week...RIGHT NOW! Time is a factor when you dispute payments with the bank!!!
