SCAM ALERT - A person claiming to be a buyer to your car posted on Autotrader or other places online, will request you to get a VIN report from a CheckVINonline.com service. They present themselves as "ready to buy" but all they are doing is getting sellers to buy a non-refundable report for $39.95+ and after the report is purchased the seller will then never hear from the buyer again or will receive some other excuse.

The Scammer may present himself to be named Lawerence and may be calling from a (857) 240-1023 number. Seller BEAWARE.
