Food is the most essential part of our lives. The food industry and the businesses that sell food are growing rapidly. But along with the businesses, the rate of frauds and scamming customers also has increased. Restaurant fraud has become very common all over the world. But there is very less time you will hear repeated business doing any scam or fraud. I am writing this article on the same incident that occurred to me when I visited New York.

I wanted to eat some food from a good restaurant, so searched on the Internet about the best restaurants near me, one restaurant that came to my suggestion list was Chef Ju'von's Personal Chef Services. I visited their official website to find out their menu and prices.

The list of food on the menu was a great and quality product, the price was also alright for me. Firstly, I was confused about that should I visit the restaurant to dine in or should I ask them to parcel my food, in that situation I called the number given on the website of restaurant and asked about the difference in the pricing for dine-in or takeaway food.

Stan was the guy I talked with, he told me that the price may differ if you eat in the restaurant because they also offer personal chef service, but also cleared that the price will not be much different than the price list on the website.

I never went to any restaurant that offers a personal Chef, I always thought that those restaurants might be very costly. But here I had a chance to get that experience within my budget. This was the first mistake I did by choosing Chef Ju'von's restaurant in the first place.

So, I visited the place, it was a clean and decent-looking restaurant, but all this was just to attract the customers. I met Chef Ju'von and requested him to provide me the personal chef service, the chef was fun to talk to, and he was calm.

So, Chef Ju'von become my personal chef and I started ordering what I liked on the menu list. Till now my experience was good and the same as any other place, but the Chef started talking to me and told me that he already cooked for many celebrities, and I am Lucky that he is cooking for me. Well, he was a bit arrogant but that doesn't affect me, there can be a chance that he is a well-known Chef here and I might be lucky to meet him.

I ordered three different types of dishes, which were great in taste, but in the end, I asked him to give me a seafood dish. I tried the seafood but does not have any taste, not even salty enough, it was like I was chewing a rubber, I told Chef Ju'von that the fish is not cooked well, and hearing that the chef become a bit aggressive and told me that I might never have tried a price dish, so I don't know the actual taste.

It was a bit insulting, so I asked him again if I am paying for the food so he should make the food the way I like it, not the way I want, that is why I requested a personal chef. After a few minutes, I started regretting the tone in which I talked to a professional guy, so I asked him politely to pack the remaining food and I will eat it in my hotel room.

The chef went out of the room quietly and some other guy came to pack my food. They told me that the Chef is going to attend a special guest. Everything was going right, I asked for the bill, and I was shocked to see that my bill price was more than double the price of the actual menu.

I was in complete shock and asked the staff if they made a mistake in my bill, but the staff member with an arrogant look told me that they never make mistakes and this is my bill. I asked them to call their Chef so that I can understand what was happening, well, the chef never came and the staff told me that sir you need to pay fast because they need to attend to more customers. Customers? I have never seen one from the time I entered this fraudulent restaurant.

Chef Ju'von's Personal Chef Services looted me more than a thousand dollars just for three dishes, I was new there so I can't just fight with them, they abused me and told me if I don't have the money, why the hell I came to their restaurants.

I was unable to cope with such insults so I paid my fraud bill and went to my hotel.
