Who is the real scammer

AUTHOR: Robert - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 14, 2020

People that buy these "tradelines" do so for one purpose.  They do it to artifically inflate their credit score in order to be approved for credit that they wouldn't be able to get otherwise.  However, the reality is that providing information you know is false in order to gain credit is considered a form of fraud.  If you were to actually open up credit based on these tradelines and the creditors discovered it you could get charged with a crime.

While you may have gotten scammed, don't expect much sympathy for the situation you put yourself in.
