Dale Albernaty bought a coat from me on ebay last january, not being satisfied he contacted me by phone initially and asked me for a resolution. I sugguested to repair the coat or a full refund I asked this person to send the coat back which he never did instead he decided to keep the coat and ''repair'' the coat himself.

months later claims that the cost for repairs is 275$ and opens a chargeback from his financial institution. never sends the coat back and receives a full refund! basically stealing my 485$ fur coat.

although this has been settled i do want to respond respecfully to the false accusations

First lie;

-''They sell vintage furs that are in horrible condition''

All of our furs are all in unused or slightly used condition if you didnt like the coat why did you decide to keep it? 

2nd lie: ''and they lie to you about compensation to correct their faulty product.

We offered you a full refund but you never returned the coat. We also offered you a partial refund but you then imidiatly opened a chargeback which froze our funds for 78 days so that prevented us from doing anything. EVEN now that you caused us so many damages we are still offering you the same initial agreement.

3rd lie: ''And then they blame you when your card company holds them accountable.''

You had 3 ways of setteling a simple problem 1. return the coat for a full refund with free shipping from us you did not do that 2. keep the coat with a partial of 225$ which we agreed apon even though i was initially supposed to fix it myself you did not do that 3. return the coat for another one. but INSTEAD of going through the normal process of returning the item through ebay or paypal you went through your bank which caused all this mess!

4th lie: ''I didn't steal from them, they didn't respond to my card company's request.''

We did respond to your card request and thats how we were able to win the case against you. had we not responded we would have lost our coat and our money too that ended up being frozen for 78 days plus the damage of your chargeback on our company

5th lie: ''And then they post this report to sully my reputation when they should be checking their merchandise before shipping it.''

I posted this report because you caused us alot of damages to our paypal account by doing a chargeback when you had 4 other ways to resolve a simple issue. ebay returns, paypal retuns, amicable returns, partial refunds, we even agreed on the partial refund there was absolutely no reason for you to do what you did. again why have you not returned the coat ?

5th lie: ''Don't tell me you will reimburse me and then haggle the reimbursement amount!''

We had initially agreed apon me repairing the coat, then you came to me with 275$ repairs which later found out from your emails some of those were things you wanted to change which had nothing to do with repairs. Even with your change of mine I accepted at 225$ when it would have costed me nothing but I agreed. You then imidiately called your bank which froze all the funds for 78 days which did not allow me to do the partial refund of 225$

6th lie ''And then post negative reports when you lied.''

I have now shown you how you have lied 6 times on this one situation i think you are not placed to tell me that im lying after ive offered you every way possible to resolve this and i believe that it is resolved now

M. Dale Albernathy is not guilty

In my previous post I had stated that M. Albernathy had stolen 485$ from me this is no longer true. the card company has refunded me entirely and I have accepted to exchange the coat for another coat that will be more satisfactory for M. Albernathy and he can keep the coat that he bought initially. I will alway keep my promise to him and anytime he will want something in my shop he can have a credit of 275$ for any merchandise in the store either at ddfurs.com or our ebay store 

this was a miscommunication and aswell I believe M. Albernathy is new to ebay and does not know the ins and out of the platform on how to request a partial refund. 

im glad that we have settled this and we can all move on.

 They sell vintage furs that are in horrible condition and they lie to you about compensation to correct their faulty product. And then they blame you when your card company holds them accountable. I didn't steal from them, they didn't respond to my card company's request. And then they post this report to sully my reputation when they should be checking their merchandise before shipping it.

Don't tell me you will reimburse me and then haggle the reimbursement amount! And then post negative reports when you lied. I can post every email correspondence that we had and text message. I saved every last one.

Ecobay Furs sold me a damaged coat and now they want to lie about it!

 I am Dale Abernathy and I purchased this coat from Ecobay Furs an online furrier on EBay. Initially I was in the market for a vintage raccoon coat and I started searching online. I came across a coat on their ebay account and placed a bid. They accepted my offer and said the would ship the coat. A few days later I received an email that this coat was smaller than advertised and they had another coat that would fit properly.

I asked for a picture and I told her my height and weight. She said it was perfect. I get the coat and I'm excited. I try it on and it looks good. I lay it down on my sofa and I noticed the vent was torn , it had a split near the right pocket and near the collar. I called the company the same day that it happened and she suggested I send it back and they would fix it or refund I said it cost alot of money for shipping and that I have a further that I could take it to. She said they would reimburse me. This all happened the day I received the coat January of this year. I emailed her pictures of the damage on the coat and I sent her a receipt of the repair.

She didn't respond to the emails or any correspondence until I got in touch with my credit card company! And then she finally responded with a lower amount of reimbursement. I didn't want to trash this company I just want this situation resolved. They are liars because I have all of the emails and text messages that were sent. We agreed that I would be reimbursed 225 instead of the repair cost of 275 and now she's trying to back out of that as well. She contacted me while she was on vacation in Cuba but she didn't want me to respond to her because of the data costs. No one stole your coat lady. Just do what you said you would. Dale Abernathy
