Dr. Luna Dr. Luna wouldn't give me a weight loss pill
*Consumer Comment: What???
*Consumer Comment: Perhaps It's You That Doesn't Understand
Humana charges exorbitant amount of money and the doctor in question (assauming he is a doctor) refuses to give me a weight loss pill or a referal to an optomitrist for glassaes. This is a very irresonsible person.
He left me in a room for 10 minutes and wouldn't go back to the room. I believe that Dr. Alejandro Luna is a quack doctor who should not be in practice. This person also has serious communication skills and you can't even really understand what he's saying to you.

Call your insurance to obtain the name of an optomitrist or look one up on their website. As for the weight loss pill perhaps this Dr thought is was not medically necessary or was a danger to your health to prescribe medication that is not guaranteed to work in the first place.
As for Humana - after dealing with them for quite some time they only care about saving money and the Dr has nothing to do with insurance! AND what is the reason you went to see this Dr to begin with?? And NO I do not work for the Dr or Humana.

Perhaps It's You That Doesn't Understand

This was quite an unintelligible report, for a number of reasons:
Humana charges exorbitant amount of money and the doctor in question (assauming he is a doctor) refuses to give me a weight loss pill or a referal to an optomitrist for glassaes. Is Humana the hospital you went to, or at least the office you went to? Hospitals are generally expensive, but your insurance dictates how much you pay out of pocket, not the doctor. Same with the office.
Now, the doctor refuses to give you a weight loss pill. Doctors are not supposed to prescribe you medication you do not need. Perhaps you did not need the weight loss pill? Maybe a few sit-ups and simply walking more would help?
Finally, medical doctors generally do not provide you a referral for an optometrist and optometrists generally don't provide their information to a medical doctor for a referral, unless the medical doctor specializes in pediatrics.
I believe that Dr. Alejandro Luna is a quack doctor who should not be in practice. Is this belief based on all of your years (10) of undergraduate school, medical school, and residency? No? Is it based upon the fact he wouldn't give you what you wanted? Probably YES.
This person also has serious communication skills and you can't even really understand what he's saying to you. I didn't understand much of your complaint - I had to read it several times...
