Esqui Enterprises They refuse to pay after I failed to show up to work from hurting my back on the job the day prior. Denver Colorado

I was told I'd be paid two weeks ago. The day prior to being told I'd be paid and the boss still failed to pay, I did not show up to work as I said I would as I was not expecting my back to hurt as bad as it did the next day. He took it as retaliation and decided not to pay the $900 he owes as a means of punishment toward me, however, I did nothing to him but do a good job. I still ask him if he sent the check out and as I check the mail every day for it and he refuses to answer my question.

We both decided he's paid up and he's legitimate.

I just want this to be over with. He and I fought because he thought I was scamming him and I thought he was scamming me, I pissed him off giving him motivation to screw around... Although I worked more hours than I'm given credit for, I'm thoroughly convinced that he didn't think I actually worked those days and thinks I made it up... Whatever...
I wish to end this fight and I don't wish to damage his reputation as I think, ripping anyone off, is not in his intention. He paid me a bit more than the numbers he said he'd pay me for, so I believe there's likely a lot of honesty in him. I'd like for this to go away and if like for this not to damage his business any longer. Thank you, ripoffreport, for your help.
