Wish i was able to report this sooner but i just found out about this website today.

Last year i bought a airline ticket from expedia for $810.45. After purchasing the ticket i realized i had booked the wrong times and immediately called them to cancel if i could get a full refund. I was told by the rep that i was able to since i was canceling min after the booking, but that the money would still be drawn from my account and refunded within a few weeks. well a few weeks went by and i didnt see anything in my account so i contacted expedia again about it. Was told something must have been screwed up in the process of refund and that they would submit it again and it would take a few weeks. on Oct 8th a recieved a deposit of $15.37. i was a bit confused and contacted them again and was told that this was just the first deposit and i would be recieving the rest still. well more time went by and nothing happened so i proceeded to contact them again and was told i had already recieved the refund. which i told them i didnt and had only got 15.37 back. They told me to contact my bank about the issue. so i then opened a claim with my back about the issue. after weeks of that i got message from my back back that expedia told them that i wasnt required to receive my refund under their terms and policies. I even had showed my bank the email evidence that showed they sent my a full refund back which didnt help my case at all. i kept trying to contact someone higher up in expedia but was always left hanging. my bank wouldnt help and they wouldnt either. it honestly felt so sickening my bank wouldnt do anything about it. I would stay very far away from Expedia if i were you.

Don't EVER Use ANY of These Third Partiies Again...EVER!

AUTHOR: Irv - (United States)

NOTHING HAS CHANGED regarding booking flights. You go DIRECT TO THE AIRLINE and do it! NONE of these trashy third parties are of ANY value. They can't wait for something to go wrong, some hitch, some technicality so that they can KEEP the ticket fees the airline has already REFUNDED TO THEM! That is an ABSOLUTE FACT! They are all slime balls and they cannot do anything that you can do yourself without involving a third party schlock operation who's M. O. is to TAKE YOUR REFUND.
