At Extra Space Storage 900 Grant St, Denver CO: employee Pete refuses to let African American renters (who are paying a premium for Storage units) use clean restrooms.
Recently Pete deliberately lied to a A.A. renter, creating a grandiose story about how dirty the restroom was. When the customer asked a second time, he became agitated, cursing and made demeaning comments, all while the restroom was very clean. Pete's discrimination is ongoing. He made a comment that (I quote) "I can't be the bathroom monitor" (unquote). Again, this customer is paying a premium for Storage.
